What Is This?

This platform provides streamed access to GPU-powered medical image segmentation tools. It removes deployment and hardware barriers, giving clinicians and researchers immediate access to 3D Slicer with nnInteractive AI segmentation.

How It Works

  1. Launch: Select a GPU and start your session
  2. Work: Use 3D Slicer and nnInteractive in your browser via VNC
  3. Save: Download results via File Browser before closing
  4. End: Session ends when you close the tab (5-min grace period)
Important: Sessions run on cloud GPU virtual machines (RunPod). All data is wiped when your session ends. Files not downloaded are permanently lost.

Privacy

Your data stays on your virtual machine only. We do not store, access, or process your uploaded files on any central server. When your session ends, the VM memory is wiped completely.

Why Free?

The AI segmentation model (nnInteractive) is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 by DKFZ (German Cancer Research Center). This non-commercial license prevents charging users.

The platform creator assumes the GPU compute costs to support research accessibility and advance medical imaging tools.

FAQ

How do I save my work?

Click "File Browser" in the dashboard to open a file manager. Download any files you need before closing your session.

What happens if I close my browser?

Your session continues for 5 minutes. If you log back in within this time, you can resume where you left off. After 5 minutes, the session is terminated.

What GPUs are available?

Various NVIDIA GPUs with 16GB+ VRAM. The system recommends the best option based on your location and preference (performance or cost).

Is my data secure?

Data exists only on your temporary VM. We never store or access your files. Everything is wiped when your session ends.
